Q: What is tinplate? Are printed tins safe for food?

A: Tinplate is the steel coated with a fine layer of tin for tin protective purposes. Tinplate is a high quality safe packaging material for food items, such as cookies, candies, chocolate, etc. A food grade lacquer is coated on the inside of the tin to prevent corrosion and interaction of the tin with the food product and thus make it suitable for food storage. 

Q: What is the thickness of the tin box?

A: Normally, the widely used thickness is 0.23mm. And it can also adjustable according to your requirements from 0.19mm to 0.35mm. 

Q: How should i design on a tin?

A: Before designing the graphics for a particular tin, we will provide a dimension layout for positioning graphics. According to the tin construction,this positioning info is very important to ensure the proper placement of artworks onto each of the tin.

Q: Do you have any special varnishing effect in metal decoration?

A: In addition to traditional glossy and matt varnishes, we can offer crackle, rubber effects, wrinkle, pear varnishes, etc. Even both shiny and matt effects are used on one tin box ( but different area). 

Q:What about the shipment?

A: The shipment is according to your requirement, it can be shipped by air, by sea or by land. The transport costs and transit time depends on the way and destination port.
